Terms and Conditions

• “Act of God” – events outside human control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or facility closures
• “Child” or “Participant” – the individual enrolled in Mini Mavericks programs
• “Coach” – individuals employed by Mini Mavericks to deliver services
• “Course” or “Program” – the Mini Mavericks program being attended
• “Drop-Off” – a program where a child is supervised by Mini Mavericks coaches
• “Parent” or “Guardian” – the legal guardian responsible for payment and agreement
• “Parent-Required” – a guardian must actively monitor and participate alongside their child
• “Premises” – the venue where programs take place
• “Services” – any Mini Mavericks program, event, membership, or merchandise

2.1 Provide the Services: Mini Mavericks and its coaches will provide services as described at purchase with reasonable skill, care, and diligence.

2.2 Protection of Your Data: We implement safeguards to protect the security and confidentiality of submitted information.

2.3 Our Personnel: Mini Mavericks is responsible for ensuring staff and contractors comply with obligations outlined in these terms.

2.4 Safety: All coaches eligible for a Vulnerable Sector Check will have up-to-date police background checks. At least one coach per session will be certified in First Aid and CPR, and a First Aid kit will always be on-site.

2.5 No Guarantee of Results: Mini Mavericks does not guarantee specific skill improvements, fitness outcomes, or performance results.

3.1 Registration: All registrations are subject to availability and must be completed via the official Mini Mavericks website, app, or facility. Registration is confirmed once payment is received.

3.2 Drop-Off Programs: Guardians must ensure their child is signed in and out of each session. If someone other than the guardian will pick up the child, prior written notice is required.

3.3 Parent-Required Program: A guardian must actively participate and keep their child within eyesight at all times.

3.4 Age & Ability Requirements: Each program has specific age and ability requirements. Guardians are responsible for ensuring the participant is eligible. By enrolling, you confirm that you and/or your child are physically, emotionally, and mentally fit to participate.

3.5 Code of Conduct: Guardians are responsible for their child's behavior. Mini Mavericks reserves the right to suspend or cancel participation without refund if behavior is deemed unsafe or disruptive.

4.1 Payment

• All fees are in Canadian dollars and subject to applicable taxes and service charges
• Payments are processed on the 1st of each month of enrollment
• Payment must be made in full and in advance
• Accepted payment methods include Visa, MasterCard, and other methods specified on the website
• Failed payments must be rectified promptly to avoid cancellation of enrollment

4.2 Withdrawals & Refunds

• Withdrawal Notice: Written notice must be provided at least 15 days before the first calendar day of the upcoming month. Requests received after this deadline result in enrollment for the entire following month, with unenrollment at the end of the subsequent month.
• 24-Hour Grace Period:If you notify us within 24 hours of your child's first Mini Mavericks class that your child will not continue, a full refund (excluding service fees) will be provided.
• No Refunds Outside Grace Period: Refunds are not issued for cancellations outside the 24-hour grace period.
• Registration Fee: If a child has already received their uniform, the $50 registration fee will not be refunded upon unenrollment.
• Medical or Special Circumstances: Refunds will be considered case-by-case, with documentation potentially required.
• Private Events:Unless requested in writing at least 30 days in advance, private events are non-refundable. Events may be rescheduled once with 7 days' written notice and must be rescheduled within 60 days.

4.3 Program Modifications & Cancellations: Mini Mavericks reserves the right to reschedule, modify, or cancel programs due to unforeseen circumstances, including low enrollment, facility availability, or public health concerns. In such cases, a full refund or alternative program placement will be offered. Refunds are processed within 15 business days.

4.4 Attendance Policy: No refunds or make-up sessions are provided for missed classes due to illness, travel, or personal reasons.

4.5 Refunds in Special Circumstances: Refunds may be granted at Mini Mavericks' discretion for medical or special cases.

5.1 Image & Media Release: By participating, you consent to Mini Mavericks using photos or videos of your child in promotional materials. To opt out, submit a written request prior to program start.

5.2 Personal Data Protection: All personal information is securely stored and used only for program-related purposes in compliance with PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act). Data will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

5.3 Communication Consent: You consent to receiving program-related communications via email, SMS, or other digital channels. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by notifying Mini Mavericks in writing.

6.1 Assumption of Risk: You acknowledge that sports and recreational activities involve inherent risks, including property damage, injury, and/or death. By enrolling, you waive any claims against Mini Mavericks arising from injury, illness, death, or damages.

6.2 Release of Liability: You release Mini Mavericks, its staff, and affiliates from any claims arising from injuries, illnesses (e.g., COVID-19), or damages sustained during participation. Mini Mavericks is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.

6.3 Indemnity: You agree to indemnify Mini Mavericks from legal claims arising from participation.

6.4 Medical Disclosure: Guardians must disclose any medical conditions that could affect their child's participation. Mini Mavericks staff are not authorized to administer medication except in emergency situations.

6.5 Emergency Medical Care: In emergencies, Mini Mavericks will seek medical attention as needed, unless parents advise otherwise. Guardians are responsible for associated medical costs beyond basic first aid.

6.6 Acknowledgment of Rowan's Law (Concussion Safety): You agree to review Ontario's Concussion Awareness Resources annually.

Mini Mavericks shall not be liable for failure to provide services due to unforeseen events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government regulations.

8.1 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada. Disputes will be resolved in Ontario courts.

8.2 Amendments: Mini Mavericks may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the website and emailed to customers.

8.3 Termination of Services: The organization reserves the right to terminate participation for failure to pay fees, breach of terms, or disruptive behavior.

By enrolling your child in a Mini Mavericks program or making any payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
